NBA Week 20 Fantasy Sleepers and Watch

Avery Bradley
Avery Bradley is forced to put up fantasy numbers in the Celtics’ offense.

NBA Week 20 Games Watch

For some of you, playoffs will start this week, continuing into next week and the week after. For others, this is the last match up of the regular season before playoffs.

This week, the Bucks and Spurs play 4 times in favorable match ups. The Rockets, Pacers, Nuggets, and Celts all play with good match ups as well, but only 3 times. If I was thinking about picking up a Lakers player, no problem as they match up decent for 4 games.

Jermaine O’Neal has the minutes.

NBA Week 20 Fantasy Player Watch

Jermaine O’Neal C Pheonix Suns (%13 owned)

Listed right now as day-to-day, O’Neal will be back now that his daughter has had successful surgery. Monday is listed as the earliest he will play, so keep an eye on that situation. As a fantasy player, O’Neal is valuable because teammate Marcin Gortat is injured. Double-double points and rebounds are a basic night at the arena for O’Neal lately. He will score fantasy points, pick him up after Monday if you need big man help.

Corey Brewer SF Denver Nuggets (%14 owned)

Latest on Coach Karl’s scoring train is Brewer. The immense depth the Nuggets posses allows for players to rapidly rise and fall as scoring options, especially bench players. He doesn’t turn the ball over, hits threes, and as a bonus he has scored in double digits in 4/5 games.

NBA Week 20 Fantasy Sleepers

Lance Stephenson
Lance Stephenson has a hot hand right now.

Lance Stephenson SG Indiana Pacers (%1 owned)

Danny Granger is out, so Lance Stephenson is in. He only plays three times this week (we usually like four) but they are against favorable opponenets. It is very difficult to find good help at the two guard, Stepehenson is your short term fix, at least until his teammate gets to %100 health again.

Gerald Henderson SG Charlotte Bobcats (%44 owned)

Henderson can quietly have nice fantasy nights mixing points and assists. Lately, he has been getting 28+ minutes and he has been stepping up in losing efforts. Cold last month, ride this sleeper pick while he’s hot.

Enes Canter C Utah Jazz (%13 owned)

The main reason for Canter’s huge past couple games is an injury to teammate Al Jefferson. Averaging out his numbers to per 40 minutes, Canter would be considered amongst the top centers in the game this season. Crowding in the Jazz frontcourt has limited his minutes all year, but a couple nights ago he pulled down 22 boards while scoring 23 points. I can’t imagine Jazz management leaving Canter on the bench as much as they were before, even once Al Jefferson returns.

Al-Farouq Aminu PF New Orleans Hornets (%30 owned)

Aminu, listed as a sleeper last week in this exact spot, remains here this week after his ownership actually went down %4. One of the only players on the waiver wire that can help with blocks, Aminu has recorded 19 of them in his last 9 games. Over 2 per. He also ventured into double figure points in 2 of his last 4 games.

Avery Bradley G Boston Celtics (%11 owned)

Probably my top fantasy waiver option at the guard spot if your league is deep, Bradley is almost forced to put up fantasy points in the C’s offense. Traditionally known for his lockdown defense, he has shown the ability to find the right pass or score when he needs to. In his last four, he is averaging 13 points with 3 boards, 4 assists, and 1 steal.
