NBA Week 4 Fantasy Sleepers, Match-ups, waivers, starts, and players to watch.
NBA Week 4 Fantasy Watch
The Knicks have a great match-up week, and they play four times. Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton are must starts this week. The Jazz match up well against the Spurs, and play them home and away this week. Both LA teams play four times this week, and in favorable match-ups. Start all Clippers and Lakers players. Chicago, Miami, and Memphis only play twice this week. In daily leagues, definitely still start your Grizzles players against the Nuggets. The Hawks play four times, but in deeper leagues consider sitting your lower caliber Hawks players because their match-ups aren’t great.
NBA Week 4 Fantasy Start Em
For those of you in need of a guard, Jason Richardson is a great pick up and start this week. He is owned in only 10% of ESPN leagues, and should hit a decent amount of threes against the Suns and Raptors this week. He also plays two other games, and has shown 76ers’ management that he is healthy and worthy of minutes.
NBA Week 4 Fantasy Player Watch
Kidd-Gilchrist has a lot to prove this week, coming off a 2 point performance last week against the Timberwolves. The Bobcats squad he is on is weak, and he rebounds well for a small forward, averaging just over 7 per game. Kidd-Gilchrist wants to show he is capable of being a top option night in and night out.
NBA Week 4 Fantasy Sleepers
Mike Dunleavy SG/SF Milwaukee Bucks (%44 owned)
Dunleavy has been hard to predict this season, but the eye test suggests he is enjoying playing on the road more so far this season. The Bucks match up well at the Heat and at the Bobcats this week. When he finds his range from beyond the arc, he can have huge fantasy nights.
Harrison Barnes SG Golden State Warriors (%18.7 owned)
Barnes is flying under the radar for the time being. His increased confidence has lead to more minutes, more attempts, and more points. Barnes also mixed in 22 rebounds in two games against the Timberwolves and Hawks last week. The Warriors don’t have a great match-up slate, but Barnes is a great pick up and start because he plays 4 times this week.
Bradley Beal SG Washington Wizards (%20 owned)
Hot and then cold so far this season, the 19-year old rookie should find his flow this week against the Hawks and Bobcats, who both are poor at stopping the three. Consider picking him up a couple times this week, dropping him, and then monitoring his progress from there.
Stephen Jackson SG/SF San Antonino Spurs (%1.1 owned)
Stephen Jackson should start seeing more time after a couple injures to the Spurs regulars. He has double-double potential on any given night, and his activeness on defense leads to some steals here and there.
Lance Stephenson SG Indiana Pacers (%0.7 owned)
The Pacers don’t have a great match up week, but Stephenson can still be a great pick up. He started four consecutive games last week, and he has become a consistent regular in the Pacers line up. In deeper leagues, especially daily ones, players who simply get minutes can have value.
Jason Kidd PG New York Knicks (%47.8 owned)
J-Kidd’s legs seem to be appreciating his back up role this season. He is shooting over %50 from three and almost %60 from the field. In a 12 team league, pick up Kidd as he plays 4 times this week.
NBA Week 3 Fantasy Deep Sleeper:
Jimmer Fredette (%0.8 owned)
For a deep league, Fredette is a waiver-wire pick up that should provide great value because Jimmer is starting in place of the injured Aaron Brooks, and the absent Isaiah Thomas, and has already had double digit games three times this season.
Dorell Wright had a hot hand for a little bit, but he took an injury to his chin, played just 5 minutes against the Jazz, and Jason Richardson has emerged as the new 3 point hand for the Sixers.
